It is a noble house popularly known as "Membrillera House" or "Les Coroneles". This house has a ground floor entrance, the main floor and a balcony with five windows with arches. Inside a stone of the façade we can read the year 1652 next to the Maltese cross, that means, that they simple reused this stone for the construction of the house. The heraldic shield of the façade belongs to D.J.M Febrerr Calderón, the Gironella Marquis (1828-1887), descendant of the Febrer de la Torre family. Recently restored, it is now the headquarters of the Fundació Caixa Vinaròs. Inside the house we have tried to capture the economic past of the town with permanent exhibitions about agriculture, trade, industry and fishing.
We note the stone of the façade, which dates back to 1652 and the shield. Socors street, 64 · Tel. 964 456 046
