If you have always dreamed of flying, the airport Vinaròs Maestrat offers the possibility to fly over Vinaròs. From the sky, you will go near to the neighboring areas of Peñíscola’s Castle, anchored in the sea or the natural landscape of the Delta del Ebro. Finally, if you prefer to stay in town, there are other possibilities such as going to play golf at the Panorámica Golf Club of Sant Jordi, just 11 kilometers away from the city, or ride a horse in the Centro Equestre. If you are thinking of a healthy activity for the whole family, there is a lovely walk along the coast in the Jardí Sòl de Riu, one of the most simple and interesting routes. If you decide to discover the most extraordinary natural areas of Vinaròs, you can walk through other pathways such as the one that surrounds the Sanctuary de la Misericordia, the Redona de l’Ermita, or ride a bike or walk to the ravine of Aiguadoliva to know its micro flora reserve with examples of oaks and arbutus. From there, you can move to the village or the Iberian archaeological site of El Puig, following the information signposts that appear all along the road.
