Sendra House

Sendra House

Modernist, 20th century

Located in Plaza Jovellar, this residential building in the Valencian modernist style was built by J. Ribera in 1912 at the request of the industrialist J. Sendra Bonet, the owner of an iron foundry.

The building’s façade features an off-white colour combined with ochre and consists of a ground floor and three additional floors. Its façade is decorated with tiles placed in vertical rows, accompanied by panelling, mouldings in the form of musical keys, heraldic soffits over the lintels and balconies, and bannisters with floral bouquet motifs. All of this is tidied up with the façade’s careful ornamentation that results in an outstandingly beautiful construction.
