Oil from ancient olive trees

Olive oil, an essential part of the Mediterranean diet and a product used for a variety of purposes since antiquity, has been cultivated throughout the Mediterranean basin since time immemorial. However, nowhere has it been more apparent than the area around the Sénia River, the enclave where Vinaròs is located, which has the highest concentration of ancient olive trees in the world.

The oil from the ancient olive trees is a liquid treasure, golden in colour with a pleasant flavour and well balanced in all of its qualities. These trees provide an excellent, unique extra-virgin olive oil, made from local varieties like the farga, the morruda and the sevillenca or the arbequina.

We recommend a visit to the museums and the places with the largest concentration of ancient olive trees. Further information.
