The Central Market of Vinaròs, built in 1928, is the favourite meeting point for locals and tourists alike who love the municipality’s authentic culinary products. Locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and fresh fish, as well as the celebrated Vinaròs king prawns and other products, are sold every day at this architectural masterpiece. The Market is in the design of a basilica and has characteristics owing to the start of the 20th century. Its structure is formed by iron lattice beams on light and elegant cast-iron columns. Its capitals are decorated with geometric vegetable motifs. All of this forms a wide and luminous space, a testament to a formidable environment and intense commercial activity throughout the entire year.
The meeting place is where you can peacefully savour the tapas offered by the bars in the market in a modern, yet still vintage, space, a place set aside for visitors to be able to enjoy a serving of fresh king prawns on site.
