Preserved whitebait and anchovies

Historically, Vinaròs has been one of the Spanish ports with the greatest number of hauls of oily fish, especially whitebait and sardines. As such, the city has a storied tradition of canneries that persist to today. Whitebait and/or anchovies (when preserved) are one of the most widely consumed products in Spain, and what better place than Vinaròs to try them?
