On 17 January, Vinaròs celebrates this festival in honour of Saint Anthony the Great. At nightfall on the eve of the festival people light bonfires in different town squares. The next day, the festival continues its celebration in the Santuari de la Misericordia, with a variety of events and community meals for the farmers.
